Title: Using finite difference delay modeling and the Nyström method for the discretization of two-dimensional scattering problems
Abstract: The finite difference delay modeling method is applied to the solution of two-dimensional electromagnetic scattering problems. The spatial discretization is carried out by the locally corrected Nyström method with arbitrary, analytically-described geometry models to achieve a method that exhibits higher-order convergence in both space and time. The efficacy and accuracy of the method are demonstrated with numerical results.
