Title: Berufungsspiele des wissenschaftlichen Feldes im Lichte des Konzepts symbolische Gewalt
Abstract: Wenn in modernen Gesellschaften die symbolischen gegenüber anderen Herrschaftsformen wie den ökonomischen oder politischen an relativer Eigenständigkeit gewinnen, wird es entscheidend, "zu begreifen, was symbolische Herrschaft ist, zu begreifen, wie sie ausgeübt wird. (...) Und die männliche Herrschaft ist in gewissem Sinne der geeignetste Gegenstand, um diese modernen Herrschaftsformen zu begreifen" (Bourdieu 1997: 220; 1996: 208). Auch in der Haltung, die Gründe für die Marginalität von Frauen in Spitzenpositionen der Wissenschaft bei 'den Frauen' zu suchen, sind, wie Claudia Rademacher in ihrer kritischen Diskussion der männlichen Herrschaft zu recht hervorhebt (siehe Rademacher in diesem Band), Formen der Bewertung sozialer Realitäten repräsentiert, die keinen anderen Effekt ausüben, als die symbolische Gewalt in den Geschlechterverhältnissen zu stabilisieren. In praxeologischer soziologischer Perspektive wie Bourdieu sie entwirft, wird es daher erforderlich, die Schemata der Wahrnehmung und Bewertung, die Erkenntnismittel selbst, zum Gegenstand der soziologischen Erkenntnis zu machen. Die Erkenntnismittel verortet Bourdieu, was dem Publikum dieses Kolloquiums hinreichend bekannt sein dürfte, in einer "doppelsinnige(n) Relation": "Zwischen den objektiven Strukturen (den Strukturen der sozialen Felder) und den inkorporierten Strukturen (den Strukturen des Habitus)" (Bourdieu 1998a: 7). Bourdieu will damit den Möglichkeiten Rechnung tragen, "welche im Körper der Akteure und in der Struktur der Situation, in der sie agieren, oder, genauer gesagt, in der Relation zwischen diesen beiden angelegt sind." (Bourdieu 1998a: 7)
