Abstract: 1Belle Wallace is currently editor of Gifted Education International and co‐director (with Harvey Adams) of the Curriculum Development Unit of the University of Natal, Pietermaritzburg, Africa 3200. 1David Moshman is currently Associate Professor at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska. He is author (with John Glover and Roger Bruning) of Developmental Psychology. He has published on “Exogenous, endogenous and dialectical constructivism”, College students’ understanding of the concept of inferential validity” and “The construction of logical necessity”. He has published in Human Development, Developmental Review, and Developmental Psychology. He is currently investigating Piagetian formal operations in light of various legal decisions that adolescents make.
