Title: IMPLEMENTING DATABASE SOLUTIONS:OBJECT, RELATIONAL, OR BOTH?
Abstract: Object oriented databases have been proposed as both an alternative and as a supplement to relational database technology. This work presents an example of an implementation of both a relational database and an object-oriented database in conjunction with an object oriented system. Key features of the two approaches are presented, as are advantages and disadvantages of both.
