Rhodium and palladium with different alloying additions of iridium, ruthenium, and gold are the main components of many platinum alloys. The determination of rhodium was based on the ability of its complex halide to maintain its color in 2M HCl in the presence of a weak reducing agent. The rhodium content in % is obtained from the corresponding calibration graph prepared under the conditions described in the paper. The results of the analysis have been confirmed by the spectrophotometric determination of rhodium with Sulfoallthiox and are presented.Read More
