Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) presents most commonly with painless cervical or supraclavicular adenopathy. Mediastinal involvement is common, as are constitutional ("B") symptoms. Cure rates are excellent, but long-term complications of treatment are common; current trials seek to maintain survival rates while decreasing late complications. Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) is usually more aggressive than HL, and life-threatening complications at diagnosis are more common. Treatment is based on histologic subtype and staging; outcomes are quite good, especially for patients with localized disease.Read More
