Waste water from the Moscow Petroleum Refinery was subjected to treatment. The characteristics of the cationic flocculants that were tested are presented. The test results in the pilot unit are shown. Results of laboratory studies show that the flocculants PPS and KR are more effective. Simplified flow plans of processes for flotation treatment of waste water and of pilot-plant flotation unit are illustrated. Concentration of suspended matter in treated water as a function of flocculant dose is presented.Read More
