Title: TRANSIT-ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT ALONG COLUMBUS BUS ROUTES
Abstract: In the past several years, the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) has built a number of bus transit centers by raising local matching funds from the private sector. Those centers are becoming a catalyst for additional economic investment. For example, the new $2 millionLinden facility has already generated an additional $10 million investment adjacent to the facility. The article explores COTA's transit oriented development along Columbus' bus routes that is already in place and looks at additional future plans.
