Abstract: This chapter discusses: storage systems for multiple varieties and generations of potato seed; particular requirements for seed production facilities; manipulation of seed size by chronological aging; seed grading and dispatch procedures; warming seed prior to handling; chitting systems to maximize yield of ware; a chitting system for planting 160 hectares; pre-grading seed reports; and communication between seed suppliers and customers.
