Among new acaricides clofentezine (0.01, 0.02%), fenazaquin (0.002, 0.0015%) and propargite (0.057, 0.0285%) were evaluated and compared with the already recommended standard insecticides, viz chlorpyriphos (0.04%), dicofol (0.037%) and malathion (0.05%). Among all clofentezine (0.01,0.02%) and fenazaquin (0.002) and (0.0015%) provided excellent control of motile and egg stages of P. ulmi followed by propargite (0.057 and 0.0285%) for more than 30 days, whereas standard insecticides could provide control up to 10 days only.Read More
