Abstract: This chapter discusses departures from the subject-verb-object (SVO) word order: verb before subject, object at the beginning of the sentence, and topicalization. It focuses on distance between sentence components and Verbless sentence. The chapter then discusses about subjectless sentences and multi-clause sentences: coordination and subordination. It finally focuses on lexical repetition, apposition, ellipsis and Confusables: הtא; אשר at the beginning of the word; כי; אך. The chapter helps the reader to identify the subject of the clause when the SVO word order is inverted.
