Title: A Review Paper on Micro Channel Condenser using low GWP refrigerants
Abstract: In a vapour compression refrigeration system (VCRS), a microchannel condenser takes up less space and uses less refrigerant than a normal condenser. There is additional surface area available to refuse the heat to the air in the microchannel condenser because thin tubes are being used. This article summarises researchers' findings on the performance of condensers in VCR systems using various coolants. In this paper, a review has been carried out of different heat exchangers such as single-channel and multi-channel condensers. The performance of the system is measured using different features, like the performance coefficient (COP), thermal transfer rate, cooling capacity and an efficiency ratio (EER). Various methods for prediction of vapour compression cooling condenser performance to R134 considering low GWP and zero ODP values. Detailed study analysis shows microchannel condensers can be more effective than conventional condensers at different loads and operating conditions. Microchannel condensers have the greater advantage of their compact size using aluminium as a material.
