Title: Synthesis and structure of Nasub(6-x)(UOsub(2))sub(3)(Hsub(x)POsub(4))(POsub(4))sub(3) (x approximately equal to 0. 5) crystals
Abstract: Crystal structure of compounds crystallized from melts of the (UO/sub 2/)/sub 2/P/sub 2/O/sub 7/-Na/sub 4/P/sub 2/O/sub 7/ system has been studied. The Na/sub 6/(UO/sub 2/)/sub 3/(PO/sub 4/)/sub 4/ compound is crystallized in the range of mixture compositions of (UO/sub 2/)/sub 2/P/sub 2/O/sub 7/-(1.4-3)Na/sub 4/P/sub 2/O/sub 7/. The Nasub(6-x)(UOsub(2))sub(3)(Hsub(x)POsub(4))(POsub(4))sub( ) phase is obtained during the melt cooling from 960 up to 900 deg C with the rate of 35 deg per hour. The last compound has the following parameters of triclinic cell: a=6.675(2); b=6.922(2); c=10.732(2)A; ..cap alpha..=83.96(2) deg; ..beta..=82.29(2) deg; ..gamma..=89.44 deg.
