Title: Study on Gas Injection Huff and Puff in Fuyu Tight Oil with Vertical Well Network Fracturing in Daqing Oil Field
Abstract: Fuyu tight oil reservoir in Daqing Oilfield is characterized by poor physical properties, large vertical span, and thin, narrow and scattered oil layers. The result of using conventional development technologies is low in individual well production and rapid decline in production. Besides, both the degree of response to waterflood and the recovery factor of waterflood are low. The most difficult part in achieving cost-effective development of this type of reservoirs is to increase individual well production and ultimate recovery factor. In this paper, an integrated geological-engineering method is used to build geological and mechanical models for the target block, and fracturing simulation software is used to comparatively study the effects of fracture-network fracturing with different scales, optimize reasonable fracturing parameters such as fracturing displacement rate, fluid load and sand loading, and then calculate in a simulated way the unstructured mesh fracture-network model after field fracturing. Through reservoir numerical simulation, rational and optimum development technical policies for huff-n-puff gas injection such as injection rate, accumulative injection volume of each cycle and soaking time are selected, and the effect of huff-n-puff gas injection after fracture-network fracturing on increasing the oil production of vertical wells is studied. The results show that huff-n-puff gas injection in vertical wells after fracture-network fracturing can greatly improve the recovery factor of reservoir, which is an effective development mode to replenish energy for this type of reservoirs. The findings in this paper provide important theoretical guidance for the massive and effective development of Fuyu tight oil in Daqing Oilfield.
