Abstract: Molecular phylogeny has great importance and application in determining evolutionary relationships between organisms and monitoring of a common ancestor, which would certainly change certain divisions within systematics and takonomy as it does. Mitochondrial DNA Cytocrom Oxydase Subunit I as one of the molecular markers used in molecular filogenesis for the building of a phylogenetic tree, it has great importance today for species identification. Its extremely conserved sequence is one of the features that helps to determine the similarities and differences and the distances of certain species. Chondrichthyes is one of the rarest phenomena in the Adriatic Sea. The reason for this is to reduce species populations that are happening globally. In order to monitor the phylogenetic relationship of crustacean fish, the species are most commonly found in the Adriatic Sea. The nucleotide sequences of selected cartilage species were taken from the NCBI nucleotide bank and processed in the MEGA 7 computer program with the ClustalW alignment tool. The Neighbor-Joining method was used for filogenetic tree making. The final result was the expected phylogenetic tree that coincided with the currently universally accepted systematics. The Order Batoids are the only ones to show the exception of a different order of ordinary systematics twards Stiassny.
