Title: Influence of Commitment to Organization, Career Development, Performance Appraisal, and Job Satisfaction towards Turnover Intention of Star-Rating Hotel Employees in Malang
Abstract: The study aims to determine effect of commitment to organization, career development and performance appraisal towards turnover intention through job satisfaction. The respondents were 200 employees of star-rating hotels in Malang. The variables are evaluated using 5-point Likert score; there are some statements the subjects have to respond to and their responses about the statements varies from strongly disagree to strongly agree. The structure of relationships between variables is analyzed using SEM measured using AMOS 20. Most of the respondents graduated from a three-year diploma program, are between 20-30 years old and has been working in the hotel for 1-8 years. Modeling results explain that commitment to organization, career development and performance appraisal have direct effect towards job satisfaction, especially from career development.
