Title: A Study of Ecological Interface Design for Nuclear Power Plant Display in Digital Environment
Abstract: Critical accidental damage in a large-scale system such as Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident has often been occurred due to the limited human attentional resources producing cognitive load and so critical human error. Display design method to reduce the cognitive error has been studied in the area of Ecological Interface Design (EID). Using EID method based on Work Domain Analysis, it was analyzed and designed Steam Generator Water Level control process in a digitalized Main Control Room of Nuclear Power Plant. From the result of WDA, information requirement of Steam Generator is collected with a flux of water, pressure, temperature, and water level, which display evaluated with a rating scale.
