Title: Comment and Analysis on Irrational Prescriptions
Abstract: OBJECTIVE: To investigate the outpatient prescriptions in Puyang Oil Field General Hospital in order to improve the quality of prescriptions and promote clinical ration use of drugs. METHODS: A total of 23 600 outpatient prescriptions in our hospital were randomly collected from Jan. 2011 to Dec. 2012. The basic indicators of the prescriptions were given statistical analysis and comment and the irrational prescriptions were examined verified,sorted out and analyzed. RESULTS: 2. 86 drugs were prescribed per prescription on average and the average drug consumption sum per prescription amounted 90. 5 Yuan. The essential drugs represented 45%. 300( 25%) were antibiotic prescriptions and 126( 10.5%) were injection prescriptions. The antibiotic varieties totaled 11; the antibiotic use density was 47; 1 128( 4.77%)prescriptions were irrational. CONCLUSION: It is important to emphasize awareness on the safety and quality and attach importance to prescription comment work so as to improve the quality of prescriptions.
