Title: The nonlinear analysis of joints of U-section steel-encased concrete composite beam and reinforced concrete column
Abstract: Steel-encased concrete composite beam of U-section is a new type of composite beam,its rational design are needed for the construction of the joints connecting the beam with the columns.Based on the experiment two finite element models of different joints of the outer-plated steel-concrete composite beam and reinforced concrete column are set up.And boundary conditions and loads on the models are set under the situation of test.Under the results of ANSYS,the seismic behavior of shear-resistant capacity,hysteretic loops and ductility are deduced.And from the contrast between the test results and the finite element results,it indicates that the finite element results agree well with the test and the model can correctly simulate the two joints.
