Title: Synthesis and antitumor activity of Keto bis-Schiff bases complexes
Abstract: Objective:To explore the antitumor activities of bis-Schiff bases and its complexes on restraining HL-60.Methods:A novel keto bis-Schiff base ligand and its transition metal Cu(II)、Zn(II)、Mn(II)、Co(II)、Ni(II)complexes were prepared and marked by element analysis,IR,UV-Vis,molar conductivity and 1H NMR.Their antitumor activities of restraining HL-60 were evaluated with MTT method. Results:The IC50 of the ligand and its Cu(II),Zn(II),Mn(II)complexes were:37.25±3.66,1.01±0.48,32.59±1.91,39.20±2.31 separately, for Co(II)Ni(II)complexes the IC50 were both 40a.Besides,IC50 of VP-16 was 3.21±1.45.Conclusions:It can be inferred that the Schiff base ligand and its Cu,Zn,Mn,Co and Ni complexes all shows antitumor activities of restraining HL-60,the copper(II)complex, specifically,is substantially more active than the ligand itself or any other reported compounds.
