Abstract:Based on the analysis of the information of 25 tide-gauge stations collected in South China coastal area,it is shown that the average rate of sea level rising is around 1 45 mm/a from 1953 to 1992 in ...Based on the analysis of the information of 25 tide-gauge stations collected in South China coastal area,it is shown that the average rate of sea level rising is around 1 45 mm/a from 1953 to 1992 in this area,which is close to the average rate(1 5 mm/a)of global sea level rising.The crust movement rate range of coast that distributed tide-gauge stations is 4 4~4 1 mm/a by comparing the sea level change rate of each tide gauge station with the average rising rate of global sea level.It is reflected that the present crust movement of coast in this area continued since middle and late Holocene epoch.Read More
