Title: Low dose Amiodarone combined with Bisoprolol in the treatment of atrial fibrillation
Abstract: [Objective] To observe the efficiency of low-dose amiodarone combined with bisoprolol for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.[Methods] A group of 60 paroxysmal atrial fibrillation patients were randomly divided into control group and treatment group. The patients in control group were adminstered amiodarone conventionally, and those in treatment group low dose amiodarone combined with bisoprolol. The treatment efficiency was observed.[Results] The total efficiency in treatment group was 76.5%,and in control group 76.9%.The treatment efficiency between the two groups was close. There was no significant difference between the two groups in ventricular rate control, number of atrial fibrillation recurrence and left ventricular ejection fraction(P 0.05).[Conclusion] Low-dose amiodarone combined with bisoprolol has equal effect to conventional-dose amiodarone in the treatment of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.Further studies and larger samples are needed to confirm the results.
