Abstract: Glass mirrors appeared in China during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Prior to that time, all mirrors in China were made from bronze. A bronze mirror was not only an indispensable tool, used daily, that reflected people's appearances when they dressed up; it was also a unique work of bronze art.
