Title: Finite element simulation on seismic behavior of Concrete-filled steel tube-reinforced concrete ring beam joint
Abstract: The joint specimen of the concrete-filled steel tube column-reinforced concrete ring beam in literature [1] is simulated by the ANSYS finite element software in this paper.Because of the high non-linearity of the concrete-filled steel tube and the reinforce concrete,it is difficult to restrain in the finite element analysis.Solid45 unit is used to simulate the steel pipe,solid65 unit to the concrete and combin39 spring unit to the contact between concrete and steel pipe.The cracking position in the concrete,the stresses of reinforced framework,as well as the load-rotation angle hysteresis loops are obtained.These simulative results coincide with the experiment ones.
