The expressions of E-cadherin and β-catenin in gastric carcinoma were higher in thr intestinal-type than in the diffuse-type(r=0.4766, P=(0.0005)).Concerning the primary foci of gastric carcinoma and their matching metastatic foci of the lymphnode, there was no significant difference between the positive expression of E-cadherin and that of β-catenin in 12 cases((P0.05).)(Conclusion)The co-expression of E-cadherin and β-catenin may play a role in tumor cellular differentiation, cell-cell adhesion, and in inhibiting tumor invasion.Read More
