Title: Air Flow Measurements on 12 Young Men under Different Work Intensity
Abstract: The paper reports air flow measurements 12 young men at different work intensity. Simultaneous measurements of instantaneous inspiratory and expratory air flow were obtained from sedentary and under diffent working intensity 250,500 such as 750,1000 kgm·min 1. The experimental data were processed off-line by a micro- computer. On an average the air flow curves of 12 subjects at each work intensity, mean air flow curve and curve of rate of changes in air flow were plotted. The results show that (1) airflow curves obtained on human subjects at various work intensity vary in rate and amplitude with the work intensity (2) there are the differences of the parameteres of air flow curves between Chineses and foreigneres. However, the data contained in this report may be used in working out the physiological standard of respiratory protective equipment in our country and designing apparatus to simulate human respiration.
