Title: Effect of lauromacrogol sclerosis under ultrasound guidance in the treatment of renal cyst
Abstract: Objective To compare and analyze the clinical efficacy of lauromacrogol injection and anhydrous alcohol in the treatment of renal cyst. Methods 60 cases of patients diagnosed with kidney cyst in our hospital from June 2011 to December 2013 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into lauromacrogol group and anhydrous ethanol group. After ultrasound guided percutaneous renal biopsy, lauromacrogol injection and anhydrous ethanol solution was injected into the two groups respectively. The therapeutic effect and incidence rate of adverse reaction in two groups was compared respectively. Results The total effective rate of lauromacrogol group was 96.67%,higher than that of anhydrous ethanol group(83.33%),with statistical difference(P0.05).The incidence rate of adverse reaction in lauromacrogol group was 16.67%,lower than that in anhydrous ethanol group(36.67%),with statistical difference(P0.05). Conclusion The effect of lauromacrogol injected into renal cyst under ultrasound guidance is significantly better than that of anhydrous ethanol, with lower incidence rate of adverse reaction. It can be used as a new, safer, more effective hardening agent,is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
