Title: Influence of Fuzhengjiedu Decoction on Inflammatory Cytokines and Immune Function in Streptococcus Pnenmonia Rats
Abstract: Objective: To observe the influence of Fuzhengjiedu Decoction on inflammatory cytokines and immune function in streptococcus pnenmonia rats by. Methods: After pnenmonia infection models being establised by streptococcal pnenmonia tracheal injection,the experimental animal models were treated with Fuzhengjiedu Decoction,cefuroxime axetil and Fuzhengjiedu Decoction plus cefuroxime axetil. After 4 days and 7 days,concentrations of the TNF-α and the IL-17 were determined in the serum and lung tissue by ELISA. Meanwhile,the CD4+and the CD8+levels were detected in the spleen tissue by west blot. Results: Compared with the normal gorup,concentrations such as TNF-αand the IL-17 were increased significantly in the model group(P 0.05). Treatment had a negative regulatory role on TNF-α and IL-17(reduced) and a positive regulatory role on CD4+ and CD8+(increased) respectively,and could adjust the immune state of disorder. Conclusion: Fuzhengjiedu Decoction could reduce the levels of inflammatory cytokines,enhance the function of the immune and improve animal survival. The mechanism of treating pnenmonia may reduce the levels of inflammatory cytokines and enhance the immune function.
