Title: Study on the Physiological Performance and Population Development of Rice under the Condition of No-tillage Intensified Cultivation
Abstract: [Objective] The study aimed to provide reference for the application of no-tillage and intensified cultivation in rice planting.[Method] With Liangyoupeijiu as tested cultivars,no-tillage rice transplanting cultivation as CK,the growth status and yield of rice under the condition of no-tillage intensified cultivation were studied through the field experiments with randomized block design.[Result] The average tiller numbers of no-tillage system of rice intensification (SRI) and CK in peak tillering period were 36.5 and 26.7 tillers/plant resp.and their difference was 36.7%;their available ear numbers in maturation period were 14.6 and 11.4 ears/plant resp.and their difference was 28.07%.In tillering, heading and maturation periods, compared with CK,the root activity of no-tillage SRI was enhanced by 17.43%,13.63 % and 22.41% resp.,its proline content in leaf was enhanced by 21.37%,32.44% and 9.92% resp.and its malonaldehyde content in leaf was enhanced by 10.42%,13.62% and 9.47% resp.Compared with no-tillage rice transplanting cultivation, the available ear number of no-tillage SRI was reduced by 8.93% and its grain number per ear was increased by 11.32%.[Conclusion] No-tillage intensified cultivation was a high-yield and high efficient cultivation mode and it was worth popularizing and applying.
