Title: Comparison and Application in the Performance of CPLD and FPGA Devices
Abstract: The Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD) and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) are two types of large-scale programmable Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), they have been developed greatly recently, which are paid more attention to in digital system design and control circuit by people. This paper reports on the basic structure, performance features, design flow and design method of the two kinds of devices. The discriminate of the two kinds of devices and notices in using are given.
