Title: Analysis of the Characteristics of Urban Heat Island Effect in Nanning
Abstract: The systematic analysis of the air temperature information from conventional observation in ground station and ground automatic observation indicated that the urban heat island effect in Nanning is becoming stronger and stronger year by year, and it becomes strongest in autumn. It has an obvious daily change and the ′night heat island′ is stronger than the ′daytime island′. Spacial distribution of urban heat island effect is closely related to different underlying surface.
