Title: Effects of bagging on quality and nutrient content of Jinfeng pear
Abstract: This experiment was conducted to compare the effectiveness of bagging time after anthesis on one cultivar of pear,Pyrus ussuriensis 'Jinferg'.Effects of bagging on the fruit quality and nutrient content of Jinfeng pear were analyzed.The results showed:the size and density of fruit dot,insect damage and physical damage,fruit weight were significantly decreased by bagging.The bagging reduced mean single fruit weight,total soluble solid and sugar,and increased deoxidize vitamin C and titratable acidity in different degreee.The content of the elements N and P in fruits were not significantly affected by bagging,but the content of K,Ca,Mg in mature fruits were obviously decreased by 9.6 %,38.9 % and 6.7 %,respectively.
