Title: Relationship Between Production and Injection in Sub-divided Oil Layer of Water Driving Sandstone Oilfield
Abstract: Due to the lack of oil reservoir monitoring data for many old sandstone oilfields in the early stage of oil extraction, the relationship between production and injection with rising water level is not clear under condition of multiplayer oil extraction in sub-divided oil layers, the plane and inter-layer problems and ineffective water circulations will become serious issues in the stage of high water levels. In this paper, instead of the conventional dynamics analysis method, we propose a new approach of dynamics analysis of oil and water well, with the oil and affusion water well in Fuyu, Jilin oilfield as an example. This approach combines production data, monitoring data, sedimentary micrograms and spot information of multi-wells, and for the benefient well, an analysis is made layer-by-layer to obtain the water driving direction and the relationship between injection and production in sub-divided oil layers. The results of tracer verification agree with the analysis. Good results were obtained by adjusting well spacing accordingly in the research area.
