Title: Quantitative analysis of residual blood in the interventional treatment of primary liver cancer by contrast enhanced ultrasound
Abstract: Objective To evaluate the value of the contrast enhanced ultrasound(CEUS) to quantify the residual blood in the interventional treatment of primary liver cancer. Methods Sixty HCC patients from January 2008 to January 2012 in our hospital were chosen,66 lesions undergoing TACE and ultrasound-guided ethanol ablation therapy, then the effect was evaluated by state of low mechanical index real-time the CEUS;residual tumor perfusion information was detected in time-strength quantitative analysis by software. Results The analysis of CEUS time-strength quantify six lesions with thorough treatment which diameter was less than 3 cm;enhancement intensity and time of 60 residual tumor lesions did not change significantly(P0.05),but the area under the curve was significantly different before and after treatment(P0.05).Conclusion CEUS quantitative analysis can accurately display the necrotic area of the HCC after treatment of the TACE/PEI,contribute to the objective evaluation for residual tumor blood supply.
