Title: Characteristics analysis of student reported incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis during 2007-2011 in Qingdao City
Abstract: Objective To know the characteristics of the student reported incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in Qingdao,in order to take targeted measures of prevention and control.Methods The reported incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis information from the Management System of the Information Tuberculosis during 2007-2011 was adopted and statistical analysis was made on the student reported incidence rate of pulmonary tuberculosis.The distribution characteristics of the student reported incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis was described.Results The student reported incidence rate of pulmonary tuberculosis during 2007-2011 in Qingdao was 15.75/100 000(2007)-20.61/100 000,the differences were statistical significance(χ2=11.28,P0.05).The trend was decreasing since 2008(χ2=7.60,P0.05).Reported incidence of smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis was 7.34/100 000(2007)-4.62/100 000,there were no significance difference(χ2=8.62,P0.05).The main ways of finding disease were clinical consulation and transferring consulation,which took up 55.14% and 27.45% respectively.The student reported incidence rate of pulmonary tuberculosis in male was 22.34/100 000,which in female was 13.17/100 000,and the differences were statistical significance(χ2=76.93,P0.05).As for student proportion as a occupation in each age group,the highest was 15-age group with an average of 49.44%,followed by 20-age group of 44.94%.The student reported incidence number of pulmonary tuberculosis was the highest in April,which was followed by May and June,the lowest was in February.Conclusion The student reported incidence rate of pulmonary tuberculosis in Qingdao show a downward trend.But the clustering of outbreaks will still occur.We should strengthen tuberculosis medical examinations in high school and college freshmen and the routine health examinations in enrolled students,faculty and staff.Close contact investigations should be conducted early for school in order to prevent the spread of tuberculosis in school.
