Title: Estimation of refrigerant mixture phase equilibrium with UNIFAC model
Abstract: In this paper, the vapor-liquid phase equilibrium therm odynamic properties of HCFCs refrigerant mixtures were estimated by using the UN IFAC model of group contribution.According to experimental data in literature, t he interaction coefficients of the three main groups were obtained by mathematic al fitting. Based on the interaction coefficients, the vapor-liquid phase equi librium properties of the new refrigerant mixtures R32/R227ea, R227ea/R134a , R1 52a/R227ea and the ternary refrigerant mixture R32/R125/R134a were obtained and agreed well with the experimental data.The paper’s work provides a genera lized method to predict new HFCs refrigerant mixture.The result can meet the dem and of engineering designs which use new refrigerant mixtures as working fluids.
