Title: Assessment of spiral CT and 3-dimensional image in diagnosis of complex facial bone fracture
Abstract: Objective:To study the diagnostic value of spiral-CT and 3-dimensional image in the facial bone fracture.Methods:The data of clinical evaluation and spiral-CT were collected from 32 cases with facial bone fracture, among which-15 cases were analyzed retrospectively by our work station with 34-dirnensional image.Results:Two types of fractures:multiple and single fractures with linear,comminuted, depressed and torsion fracture can be found by CT;meanwhile the indirect signs-dropsy of paranasal sinus and soft tissue injury were also manifested.Conclusion:It is proved that the spiral CT scaning and 3-dimensional image is on eof the best methods to make the diagnosis of facial bone fracture, as a important supplement to the transection CT.
