Title: Strength Analysis of Valve Connection in USC Steam Turbines
Abstract: The valve connection in USC steam turbines is analyzed by FEM,and ABAQUS is used for simulation so that the temp.and stress field and displacement variations of connection under working environment are obtained.At the same time,Bailey-Norton equation is adopted for creep calculation.Based on the results,the structure is optimized at last.Finally,it shows a better operation reliability and seal effect for valve connection,and is useful for turbine U-ring seal design.
