Title: Study on Sap Flow of Pinus massoniana and Quercus variabilis in Growing Season
Abstract: The stem sapflows of two 7 years old pine and oak trees were measured by means of ICT 2000TE.The results obtained are as follows:①The sapflow intensity of Pinus Massoniana and Quercus variabilis were 141 1 and 149 5 cm 3·cm -2 ·d -1 ,respectively, indicating the transpiration of oak tree was more than that of pine tree.②The feeble sapflows of oak tree were occasionally observed at night due to root pressure.③ The diurnal change of sapflow volume showed some fluctuations with pauses at noon.④The diurnal change of sap flow rate is similar with that of solar radiation, air temperature, relative humidity and CO 2 content of the air.⑤The diurnal change of sapflow was closely related to the change of environmental factors, but different to dominant environment factors with regard to different tree species.
