Title: Levofloxacin Triple Therapy and Amoxicillin Triple Therapy in Treatment of Peptic Ulcer:Comparison of Efficacy
Abstract: Objective To compare the efficacy of levofloxacin triple therapy and amoxicillin triple therapy in the treatment of peptic ulcer. Methods We divided 200 cases of peptic ulcer into observation group and control group. The observation group was treated by using three drugs combined therapy of levofloxacin + omeprazole + furazolidone and the control group was treated by using amoxicillin + omeprazole + furazolidone. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 91.00%,and that of the control group was 86.00%,and there were no significant differences in the total effective rate and the adverse reaction between the two groups(P0.05).The daily cost of the observation group was less than that of the control group.Amoxicillin resistant strains showed 11.5%,but these strains were sensitive to levofloxacin. Conclusion Levofloxacin + omeprazole + furazolidone treatment of peptic ulcer shows good efficacy, safety, and relatively low cost.In the condition of amoxicillin resistance, levofloxacin can be selected in the treatment of peptic ulcer.
