Title: Effects of Specific Fertilizers on the Yield and Quality of Flue-Cured Tobacco
Abstract: A field trial was conducted in a loess field with an average or above fertility level to study the effects of 5 different specific fertilizers on growth, yield and quality of flue-cured tobacco. The results showed as follows: when the applied amount of N, P and K were same to or even lower than that of the fertilizer compounds, specific fertilizers for flue-cured tobacco could benefit its agricultural properties and improve its yield and quality, but the content of chemical composition of tobacco leaves wasn’t improved obviously. Compared with the contrast treatment, the treatments of specific fertilizers such as 01-2, 00-1 and Chenzhou could improve the production value by 70.22%, 63.84% and 44.46%, respectively; the proportion of the best grade tobacco of the three treatments, were increased by 12.33%, 9.55% and 9.23% respectively. Besides, the difference in the quality index between the treatments of specific fertilizer and the fertilizer compounds was remarkable. However, the yield difference between them wasn’t evident. In view of the results of all the checked index, the 01-2 specific fertilizer was the best, the next was the 00-1, and the third is the Chenzhou.
