Title: Analysis of the prevalence and risk factors in diabetic nephropathy among the patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Beijing community
Abstract: Objective:To analysis of the prevalance and risk factors in diabetic nephropathy of type 2 diabetes mellitus in Beijing community and investigate the goal to manage diabetes mellitus and diabetic nephropathy in community. Methods:A total of 176 cases of type 2 diabetes mellitus who were divided into 3 groups:no-nephropathy (UAER20ng/min,n=131),early-nephropathy(200UAER20μg/min,n=40) and clinical-nephropathy (UAER200μg/min,n=5).Its correlated risk factors(waist circumference, waist hip ratio, blood pressure, plasma glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin and diabetic duration,et al.) were analysed by statistical methods. Results:Among the three groups statistical difference was significant in waist circumference,2-h postprandial blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, blood urea nitrogen and serum creatinine(P0.05),but the difference in diabetic duration was no significant(P0.05).Through multiple stepwise regression analyses,we found the factors in diabetic nephropathy is obviously higher than that of no—nephropathy group in glycosylated hemoglobin, waist circumference and blood urea nitrogen. Conclusions:this study shows that the risk factors closely correlated with diabetic nephropathy are glycosylated hemoglobin and central obesity. It should be paid more attention to examining glycosylated hemoglobin and intervention of central obesity in diabetic management of community.
