Title: The Practical Value of Axial plus Coronal Scanning High Resolution CT in the Diagnosis of Nasal Bone Fracture
Abstract: Objective To investigate the practical value of axial plus coronal scanning high resolution CT (HRCT) in the diagnosis of nasal bone fracture. Methods X-ray and axial plus coronal scanning HRCT were performed in 20 cases with nasal bone fracture, and the diagnostic value of X-ray and HRCT in nasal bone fracture were analyzed retrospectively. Results 13 cases were diagnosed as nasal bone fracture by X-ray examination (smashing nasal bone fracture in 5 cases).20 cases had nasal bone fracture by CT examination,13 cases had smashing nasal bone fracture,7 cases had line fracture;5 cases combined with maxilla process fracture,4 cases had maxillary sinus fracture,1 case had frontal bone fracture,4 cases had orbit wall fracture,1 case had nasal septum fracture,2 cases had ethmoid sinus plate fracture and 1case had the displacement of nose forehead. Conclusion HRCT axial plus coronal scanning technology has a high practical value in the diagnosis of nasal bone fracture, which can be used as routine and the best device in the diagnosis of nasal bone fracture.
