Title: Chemical constituents from Pfaffia paniculata
Abstract: Objective For obtaining a more comprehensive understanding on the effective components,chemical constituents from the roots of Pfaffia paniculata were studied.Methods The chemical consti-tuents were isolated and purified by silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography.Their structures were elucidated by chemical and spectral analyses.Results Twelve compounds were obtained and identified as ecdysterone(Ⅰ),3-methoxy-4-hydroxy-benzoic acid(Ⅱ),oleanolic acid 3-O-β-D-glucurono-pyranoside(Ⅲ),oleanoic acid 28-O-β-D-glucopyranoside ester(Ⅳ),oleanolic acid(Ⅴ),stigmasterol-β-D-glucoside(Ⅵ),stigmasterol(Ⅶ),daucosterol(Ⅷ),β-sitosterol(Ⅸ),20-hydroxyecdysone-20, 22-monoacetonide(Ⅹ),1-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(2S,3S,4R)-2-[2′(R)-hydroxyl hexadecosanoyl-amino]-4-octadecene-1,3-diol(Ⅺ),and oleanolic acid 3-O-β-D-glucuronopyranoside-methyl ester(ⅩⅡ).Conclusion Compounds Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅸ,Ⅹ,and ⅩⅡ are isolated from this genus for the first time and compounds Ⅰ,Ⅳ,and Ⅴ are isolated from this plant for the first time.
