Title: Comparison of short term efficacies in peptic ulcer between omeprazole and colloid bismuth subcitrate
Abstract: Fifty-five patients with active peptic ulcer confirmed by gastroscopy were divided randomly into two groups.33 patients(M 25, F 8:age 40 ± 11 a) received omeprazole 20 mg, qd,Po, 22 patients(M 12,F 10; age 39± 12a) received colloid bismuth subcitrate 110 mg, qid, po, all for 4 wk.Results showed that the total response rate in the omeprazole group (97%) was better than that in the bismuth group(86%), P0. 05. So it is better to select omeprazole to treat active peptic ulcer.
