Title: The Impact of Organizational Climate on Organizational Learning Capability——A Case Study of Star-rated Hotels in Guangzhou
Abstract: Organizational climate ( OC ) is the key factor of organizational personality and source of motivation of members’ behavior.Organizational learning capability ( OLC) is the core competency and dynamic capability for organizational survival and development.But whether or not and how does organizational climate influence organizational learning capability? Currently,there lacks comprehensive empirical study result about the relationship of these two in academic circles both at home and abroad.The paper,with star-rated hotels in Guangzhou as an object of investigation,based on empirical data,makes an explorative study on how organizational climate affects organizational learning capability by applying the method of structural equation.The results indicate that 1.the human relation climate,the internal procedure climate and open system climate affect organizational knowledge reserve;2.the human relation climate and rational goal climate affect the shift of organizational knowledge;3.organizational knowledge reserve carries weight on organizational learning shift each other;4.management leadership response differently with non- management employees about the impact of organizational climate on organizational learning capability.The study results are of important theoretical and practical significance to helping organizational obtain core competitive advantages.
