Title: Survey on psychosomatic symptoms and analysis of relevant factors among nursing students from a vocational college
Abstract: Objective To analyze the psychosomatic symptoms and related factors in nursing students from a vocational college.Methods Cluster random sampling method was taken in selecting 1 087 nursing students,they were asked to compelete Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90) and related factors survey.Results The SCL-90 factor scores of nursing students were significantly higher than Chinese norms(P0.05).Their scores of sompulsive,hostility,delusion were significantly higher than Jiangsu norm.Their phobic anxiety was lower than Jiangsu norm,three factor scores of five-year students were significantly higher than three-year students(P0.05).The detection rate of positive factor in SCL-90 was 10.21%.Logistic regression analysis showed that psychosomatic of nursing students was influenced by grade and major satisfaction.Conclusions The vocational college should implement mental health education of nursing students and the targeted preventive interventions should be taken based on the influencing factors.
