Title: Analysis of Half-Sib Progeny Test Forest of the 2nd Generation Seed Orchard of 8-Year-Old Cunninghamia lanceolata
Abstract: Half-sib progeny test of the 2nd generation seed orchard of C.lanceolata was carried out in the Guanzhuang National Forest Farm. The results showed that when the stand was 8 years old,the average of tree height,DHB and stem volume was 7.49 m,10.8 cm and 0.0462 m3 respectively. There were significant differences among families.Lower-moderately genetic factor controlled growth in family level, but it was lightly controlled in individual level.12 superior families and 9 superior individuals were selected based on 8-year-old stem volume.Average stem volume genetic gain of superior families was 11.93%,and that of superior individuals was 24.36%.The selection effect was evident.
