Title: Clinical analysis of decentration and tilt of 92 cases of aspheric intraocular lens in phacoemulsification
Abstract: OBJECTIVETo compare the differentof decentration and tilt between two aspheric intraocular lens(IOL)in phacoemulsification.METHODS92eyes in 61patients with cataract surgery were randomized into 2groups:Acrysof IQ SN60WF(50eyes)and Akreos Adapt AO(42eyes)IOL groups, and the Scheimpflug images for each eye at 6months of postoperation were collected by Pentacam Scheimpflug system, and the measurements of decentration and tilt of IOL were analyzed.RESULTS The measurements of horizontal decentration in IQ and AO IOL groups were(0.21±0.05)mm and(0.17±0.04)mm,respectively,and difference was statistically significant(P=0.021).The measurements of vertical and horizontal tilt in the IQ and AO IOL groups were1.72°±0.76°,1.51°±0.57°and 1.64°±0.71°,1.59°±0.41°,respectively,and differences had no statistically significant(P=0.674,P=0.521).The mean best corrected visual acuity and contrast sensitivity had no statistical difference in two groups(P0.05).CONCLUSION The tilt has no difference between two IOL in phacoemulsification, and and the Acrysof IQ SN60WF IOLs has a greater tendency toward more decentration than Akreos Adapt AO IOLs,and the different haptic design of IOLs influence the stability in phacoemulsification.
