Title: Analysis of Production Characteristics of Multiple Thermal Fluid Huff and Puff in Horizontal Wells of Offshore Heavy Oil Reservoirs
Abstract: Multiple thermal fluid huff and puff was a new technology of thermal production of offshore heavy oil reservoirs.A mathematical model of multiple thermal fluid huff and puff was established,a numerical simulation was carried out for the thermal fluid huff and puff. The characteristics of production curve and distribution of temperature, oil viscosity as well as pressure of multiple thermal fluid huff and puff were studied, the production modes for hot water soak and steam soak were analyzed by numerical simulation. Results show that under the condition of same injected heat quantity, temperature, velocity and the same soak time, the multiple thermal fluid huff and puff can achieve larger thermal expansion areas compared with hot water and steam soaks, better temperature and pressure are maintained, oil viscosity reduction is widely distributed with higher reduction degree, and it has longer production period with higher accumulated oil increment.
